Stop the "just transition"

Make your voice heard. Let the government know what you think about shutting down the oil and gas industry.

Support Canadian Energy

Last fall, under the cover of a surprise election, the federal government launched a "consultation" about ending Canada's oil and gas industry. They called this a "just transition."

They expected the usual comments from people who support their anti-energy agenda.

But something unexpected happened.

Canadians who support our industry showed up. They flooded the consultation with messages about how a transition away from oil and has would devastate Canadian families and our economy.

In fact, of the 15,000 email responses, more than half came from people like you who know that responsibly produced Canadian oil and gas has never been more important.

Now they’ve extended the consultation period indefinitely and put the whole project on pause.

So now they are trying again.

They are closing the "consultation" on April 30 so they can proceed with their plans.

So it's time to make your voice heard. Let the government know what you think about shutting down the oil and gas industry.

Ending our industry will put hundreds of thousands of people out of work, bankrupt employers and make Canada poorer. They are doing this despite the fact that Canada’s oil and gas sector leads the nation in cleantech spending, is a world leader in ESG, and can actually help lower global emissions by providing cleaner alternatives to coal. Global oil and gas demand keeps going up even with more investment in renewable energy, and the world needs Canada as a supplier.

This matters.
