Canadian Energy Centre Executive Director of Research Mark Milke joined Business Insider host Mario Toneguzzi to discuss the findings of new research on new Canadians working in the oil and gas extraction sector.
According to the Fact Sheet, newcomers have seen their participation in Canada’s oil and gas extraction sector generally increase since 2006, and those working in the industry enjoyed significantly higher wages and wage increases than the average seen in other Canadian industries.
