Vancouver has elected a new Mayor and Council which brings a new opportunity for the city.
Let's set the newly elected Mayor and council on the right path by making sure they know how important Canadian oil and gas is to the economy and to jobs in the City of Vancouver and all of British Columbia. They also need to know that Canadian energy is an important tool in the global fight against climate change.
We've written a letter which you can send by filling out the form on this page. The letter lays out the economic impacts of oil and gas on the City of Vancouver and the rest of BC. It also points out that exporting Canadian LNG to Asia will help displace coal plants and reduce global emissions.
